ARE NOT THE HANDS OF ANY ELECTED POLITICIAN HEALING HANDS WHEN...

Are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when after swearing their oath of allegiance, they assume their duties mindful, and ever so respectful of the fact that they were so elected by the People with their trust that they would perform their duties in a timely fashion, and within the Law (bearing in mind, that NEVER are they above the LAW)?

Are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when once in office, something observed to be wrong is properly investigated within the LAW, the findings made public to inform the citizenry of whom they represent and work for, and timely suggestions are made for the necessary corrective action to be taken?

And once the People represented are so informed, are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when upon "hearing the VOICE of the People represented", he / she labors on their behalf to correct that which was reported to be wrong in a manner that is both timely and within the LAW, to include if necessary, the pursuit of amending "the LAW" if and when "the LAW as is", is "the something" that is wrong or that needs adjustment?

Are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when, in addition to doing any of the above as needed, the tasks they were elected to do are also performed to the best of their ability, in as timely a fashion as is possible, and within the constraints of the LAW (until said LAW is amended if the need be)?

Are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when they remain mindful of the fact, that they too are one of "WE the PEOPLE", not a dictator, not a King or Queen, and by no means GOD? And that when they, being human, make a mistake, a decision that is wrong, fail to do that which is right or just, they "own up to it" by informing the People they represent in a manner that is both timely and within the LAW?

And if the need be, as stated above, are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when, if their removal from office is necessary because the trust of the People has been lost, it is done in a timely and efficient manner, consistent within the LAW, and in the interests of protecting their rights, and the rights of the People of whom they represent and still do work for until so removed from office so elected?

Are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when they lead by example, and do not promise that which cannot be done, but "do" fulfill that promise that they said "would" be done?

Are not the hands of any Elected Politician HEALING HANDS when compassion and understanding have a place within their heart, and they too are mindful of man's limitations, and the needs at time to also have FAITH, to BELIEVE, to have HOPE, and to realize NEVER DO WE WALK ALONE?

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT, DARE TO BE TRUE, DARE TO BE BOLD, DARE TO BE YOU! WE are all significant, each and every one of US! WE all have HANDS that can HEAL if only WE hear that which is within OUR heart and choose to listen! Shall WE begin?
